The RPL champions failed to earn first points in the Champions League after losing to Borussia Dortmund. The first 45 minutes ended goalless, the second half started with Marco Reus’s shot into the post, and later Torghan Hazard earned the penalty, which was capitalized by Jadon Sancho. In the added time Erling Haaland scored his second goal in the current Champions League campaign.

Dortmund got their first group stage win after losing to Lazio last week, while Zenit are pointless on the bottom.
