On 14 November, RPL players participated in Nations League fixtures and a friendly match between the Olympic teams of South Korea and Brazil.

UEFA Nations League

League A, Group 3: Sweden 2-1 Croatia

Krasnodar players Kristoffer Olsson and Marcus Berg played 90 minutes for Sweden, with Berg as captain. A third Krasnodar player, Victor Klaesson, came in the 74th minute in place of the first goalscorer Dejan Kulesevski. Croatia included Rubin defender Filip Uremovic and CSKA midfielder Nikola Vlasic in their lineup.

Uremovic was replaced in the 41st minute due to a thigh injury, but Vlasic played the full match and was involved in the visitors’ goal: his 82nd minute cross found Ivan Perisic who struck a header, and the ball went in off Marcus Danielson, who scored Sweden’s second goal at the end of the first half.

The match was missed by Rubin’s Carl Starfelt and Zenit’s Dejan Lovren. The Swede, according to the country's football federation, passed a positive coronavirus test, while Lovren was serving a suspension for accumulating yellow cards. Spartak forward Jordan Larsson was also left out of the home team's lineup.

The teams are third and fourth in their group with three points apiece, but Croatia are ahead of Sweden in terms of goals scored (seven to three). On 17 November, on the last Nations League matchday, Croatia will host Portugal in Split, while Sweden will face France. The team that finishes in last place will be relegated to League B.

League C, Group 1: Cyprus 2-1 Luxembourg

Tambov midfielder Sebastien Thill was left out for Luxembourg, who took the lead thanks to an own goal in the fifth minute, but in the 33rd minute they were left with 10 men and then conceded two goals. Luxembourg lost the lead in the group to Montenegro, who are one point ahead after a 0-0 draw with Azerbaijan.

On 17 November, Luxembourg will host Azerbaijan at home. To qualify for League B, Luxembourg need a home win and dropped points from Montenegro, who will host Cyprus in Podgorica.

Friendly match

South Korea 1-3 Brazil

Zenit midfielder Wendel played 78 minutes for the Brazilians, while Lokomotiv defender Murilo, who was called up to the national team in place of Spartak's Ayrton, remained on the bench. The match was held in Cairo, where the Latin Americans will meet the Egyptian Olympic team on 17 November. Brazil, South Korea and Egypt are participating in the Olympic football tournament in Tokyo, which has been postponed to the summer of 2021.

Mexico 3-1 South Korea

Rubin midfielder Hwang In-Beom was not included in the South Korean team for the match in Wiener Neustadt. According to the Korean Football Association, the Rubin tested positive for coronavirus along with three other players and member of their backroom staff. South Korea are scheduled to play a friendly match against Qatar in Austria on 17 November.
