The RFU Medical Committee will develop proposals based on the IFAB initiative regarding concussions.

On Tuesday, a joint meeting of the RPL and the RFU Medical Committee was held. It discussed the initiative of the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to introduce an additional substitution in case of suspected concussion in a player.

In the near future, the medical committee will submit its proposals for substitutions in order to make appropriate amendments to the current regulations in time for the 2020/21 RPL season resumption.
