On 21 January, RPL teams played friendly matches at their training camps before the 2020/21 season restart.
Rubin Kazan 5-2 FC Partizan
Kazan side scored three unanswered goals before the half-time thanks to Denis Makarov, Darko Jevtic and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. In the second half Kirill Kosarev scored fourth and Ivan Ignatyev converted from the penalty spot, and on 75th minute after Georgiy Zotov was sent off the assistant coach Oleg Kuzmin entered the pitch. On 24 January, Rubin will meet FC Sochi in Turkey.
Zenit St. Petersburg 4-0 FC Riga
Sergey Semak team scored two goals in both halves: in the first half Sebastian Driussi and Wendel were the goalscorers, while in the second half Andrey Mostovoy scored the penalty and Stanislav Krapukhin made the final score in the injury time. Next Zenit’s opponents on the camp are Pakhtakor Tashkent, the meeting will take place on 24 January.
FC Krasnodar 0-0 Legia Warsaw
Krasnodar side made a draw with Polish Ekstraklasa leaders, and on 27 January will play two test matches in the UAE against FC Riga and 2020 Belarus champions Shakhtyor Soligorsk.
Dynamo Moscow 2-0 Rakow Czestochowa
After suffering a defeat from Lech Poznan the White-Blues beat Rakow, who are going second in Polish Ekstraklasa. Vyacheslav Grulev opened the score on the first minute, while Nikolay Komlichenko increased the lead on the 75th minute. On 22 January, Sandro Schwarz side will finish the first camp in Turkey, the second one will start on 26 January.
Rotor Volgograd 1-1 Jagiellonia Bialystok
After conceding from the Polish team on the ninth minute, Rotor equalized before the half-time thanks to Zuriko Davitashvili. On 26 January, Rotor will play in Turkey against Mura from Slovenian First League.
