On 28 January, five teams played friendly matches at their training camps before the resumption of the 2020/21 season.

Akhmat Grozny 1-1 Shkupi

In the first of the two matches scheduled for the day, Akhmat drew with Shkupi, the second-placed team in the North Macedonian First League. Akhmat’s only goal was scored in the 63rd minute by Andrey Semenov.

Akhmat Grozny 1-1 Vojvodina

Andrey Talalaev's team also exchanged goals in a meeting with the Serbian side Vojvodina, Zoran Nizic on target for the Grozny side. Akhmat will play their next friendlies in Turkey on 3 February against Kyzylzhar from Kazakhstan and Liepaja from Latvia.

CSKA Moscow 5-0 Real Murcia

The Armymen were much too strong for Spanish Segunda B side Murcia. The goalscorers were Nikola Vlasic, Baktiyor Zaynutdinov, Chidera Ejuke, Ilya Shkurin and Tigran Avanesyan.

FC Rostov 3-1 Marbella

Rostov also won against third-tier Spanish opposition. In the first minute, Egor Baburin was sent off for Rostov, and Maksim Rudakov came on in his place. Kento Hashimoto scored for the Yellow-Blues in the first half, while Georgi Makhatadze and Aleksandr Pavlovets got on the scoresheet after the break. Valery Karpin’s side will continue preparations for the resumption of the season in Marbella on 1 February.

FC Sochi 0-1 Cukaricki

Sochi suffered the second defeat of their training camp in Turkey. After losing 3-2 to Rubin Kazan on 24 January, the southerners lost to Serbian outfit Cukaricki. The only goal was scored by Rubin’s opponents in the 39th minute from a penalty, which was converted by Marko Docic. On 1 February, Sochi will face Krylia Sovetov, who are second in the FNL.

FC Ufa 1-2 Spartak Subotica

Artem Golubev scored the only goal against Spartak Subotica in the 60th minute. On 29 January, Ufa will complete their first Turkish training camp, and the second will begin on 2 February.
