On 2 February, four teams played friendly matches at their training camps before the resumption of the 2020/21 season.

Dynamo Moscow 3-1 Rudar

The Blue-Whites saw off the challenge of Montenegrin side Rudar thanks to a hat-trick by Konstantin Tyukavin. The 18-year-old forward, who scored in his third friendly in a row, struck in the 71st, 81st and 82nd minutes. On 4 February, Dynamo will play Kairat at their Turkish training camp.

Rubin Kazan 2-2 FC Khimki

Djordje Despotovic and Darko Jevtic scored for Rubin, while Reziuan Mirzov scored a double for Khimki. On 5 February, Rubin will play a friendly against Dynamo Moscow, and Khimki will meet FNL club Chaika a day later.

Rotor Volgograd 2-1 Aktobe

The team from Kazakhstan took the lead in the first half after a goal by Vitaly Balashov, who played this season for Tambov, but after the break Aleksey Shchetkin scored twice for Rotor. Their next opponents in Turkey will be Slavia Sofia, which will take place on 5 February.
