Nikolay Kipiani completed a comfortable second-half comeback win for Rotor Volgograd to lift them four points clear of the drop zone. Artem Arkhipov had broken the deadlock for the hosts - who had seven debutants in their starting lineup - just before the break, but a Zurab Gigashvili own goal and Andres Ponce strike turned the game around before the hour mark.

Tambov remain bottom of the table on 13 points, while Rotor stay 13th on 17 points.
