Fresh off a knockout in Europe, Rubin could only manage a draw against newly promoted Krylia. Samara star forward Ivan Sergeev scored to put his team in front at the hour mark, but Korean midfielder Hwang In-Beom equalised minutes later. 

Rubin are still second in the league, but their perfect start to the season is over. Krylia are still winless, and in the relegation zone.
