Khimki’s latest signing, Swiss striker Kemal Ademi was at the centre of the action from the start and set up Denis Glushakov for the opening goal of the game. Rubin equalised via a world class effort from Darko Jevtic, and were made to work hard for their second successive draw of the season. After a first half with two goals, the second period featured a lot of tough duelling, and not too many clear cut chances for either side. 

Rubin are now tied on points with Dynamo, Lokomotiv and Zenit in second place. Khimki are in 12th, just outside the drop zone.
