Spartak 2-2 Dynamo
Saturday 16 October, Otkritie Arena

Goals: Spartak - Dzhikia 86', Gigot 90'; Dynamo - Ordets 19', Tyukavin 60'
Man of the Match: Georgi Dzhikia (Spartak)

Konstantin Tyukavin came off the bench to put Dynamo well in charge of a pulsating, fiery Moscow Derby against Spartak.

The teenager's movement caught out Spartak captain Georgia Dzhikia momentarily to latch onto a beautifully weighted Daniil Fomin through ball and slot coolly past Aleksandr Maksimenko on the hour mark.

The Spartak keeper was at fault for the opener, as he charged too late to punch a corner, only to see Ivan Ordets glance the in swinging near post delivery over Maksimenko to break the deadlock.

On the stroke of half time a heated clash saw two players from each side booked; Spartak's pair, Dzhikia and Samuel Gigot, would have plenty to say before the end, while the latter will now miss next weekend's trip to St. Petersburg to face Zenit.

Tyukavin had a chance to seal the win just eight minutes from time with Dynamo still 2-0 up when almost clear through, but he fired wide.

What they hadn't reckoned with was the powerful presence of Spartak's central defenders in at the opposite end. Dzhikia was on hand to nod in from a couple of yards out, before Samuel Gigot bulleted home a euphoric equaliser.

Spartak remain seventh on 17 points, while Dynamo drop to third on 20 points.
