Ufa's talisman struck again with his 10th goal of the season from the penalty spot early in the second half to give the hosts a crucial lead. Oliver Abildgaard was penalised for a clumsy challenge on Artem Golubev, leaving Agalarov to complete the formalities. 

Just before the hour mark Rubin drew level under slightly fortuitous circumstances. Yuri Zhuravlev was guarding the six yard line when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia burst round behind the Ufa defence, dribbled in towards the danger area and slid a firm, low cross in; all Zhuravlev sould do was inadvertently turn it onto his own net.

Ufa go 15th on 10 points, while Rubin remain ninth on 16 points.
