The President-elect of the Russian Premier League, Ashot Khachaturyants, presented the project at the General Meeting.

The primary directions of the concept included:
- detailed development of RPL development strategy
- support of clubs in crisis conditions
- work with the main RPL broadcaster
- digitalization of the League's internal processes
- attracting a new audience
- work on the perception of the RPL brand among players, commercial partners and the media
- modernization of the RPL management model
- development of a platform for the exchange of experience between clubs and leagues

The main goal of the concept is to establish the RPL as a competitive league, giving impetus to the successful performance of clubs and the national team in international tournaments and attracting the attention of both spectators and potential partners, as well as foreign players.

According to the draft, three to four months are allotted for the development and approval of the RPL development strategy. The clubs accepted the basis of the project and agreed to prepare their proposals for the concept.
