The draw for the Europa League knockout round playoff has been been made for third-placed Champions League group stage teams and Europa League group runners up. Zenit St. Petersburg will take on Spanish side Real Betis Balompie.

The first leg will be held in St. Petersburg on 17 February, with the return leg in Spain on 24 February. The draw for the Last 16 - which will include Spartak Moscow as Europa League group winners - will be made the day after the second legs conclude.

First leg: Thursday 17 February 2022 - Zenit St. Petersburg vs Real Betis

Second leg: Thursday 24 February 2022 - Real Betis vs Zenit St. Petersburg

Last 16 draw: Friday 25 February
