The Russian Premier Liga announces the appointment of Aleksandr Ivochkin as head of the RPL Security Directorate.

Aleksandr Sergeevich Ivochkin was born in 1974. In 1997 he graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. After graduation, he worked in the security agencies of the Russian Federation.

Aleksandr Sergeevich's responsibilities include improving security measures and working with fans, developing proposals for the development of stadium infrastructure, introducing new technologies and digital solutions for the safety and comfort of spectators, the practical and methodological assistance to RPL clubs in the field of security and working with fans, as well as interaction with law enforcement agencies.

Aleksandr Meitin, who had headed the Directorate for safety and work with RPL fans since 2008, has been appointed advisor to the President of the League. With his direct participation, fundamental changes took place in the security system and infrastructure of football stadiums. The management of the RPL thanks Aleksandr Meitin for many years of conscientious work.
