On 27 March, RPL teams participated in four friendly games. All matches were held behind closed doors.
Arsenal 9-0 Peresvet
Arsenal beat Peresvet from the second-tier FNL-2 Group 2 at the Arsenal Academy Stadium. The match was held in two 40-minute halves. Evgeny Markov, Kirill Panchenko and Ayaz Guliyev scored two goals each for the winners, while Uros Radakovich, Evgeny Lutsenko and Andrey Yakushin also scored. Arsenal will play their next RPL match on 2 April at home against Akhmat.
Ural 3-1 Ural-2
The Ural senior side took on their second team in preparation for the RPL match against CSKA, which will take place on 3 April at the VEB Arena. Ramazan Gadzhimuradov, Oleg Shatov and Mikhail Ageev scored goals for the first team, while Evgeny Tatarinov scored for Ural-2.
Sochi 7-2 Irtysh
The third match of the day between RPL and FNL-2 teams - Irtysh are seventh in Group 4 of the second tier - ended with a heavy win for the top-flight side. Sochi led 4-0 after the first half thanks to goals by Victorien Angban, Artem Makarchuk and a double by Timofey Margasov. In the second period, Nikita Burmistrov, Dmitry Vorobyov (from the penalty spot) and Georgy Melkadze scored for the hosts. On 3 April, Sochi will resume the RPL season with a home match against Zenit.
Khimki 1-0 Lokomotiv
The 16th and 6th-placed teams in the RPL table met in Khimki at the Rodina stadium, with the first half lasting 45 minutes, but the second only 35 by agreement of the teams. The hosts won thanks to Denis Glushakov's goal from the penalty spot in the 26th minute. Guilherme, who spent the entire game on the pitch, played for the Railwaymen for the first time after injury. On the first RPL matchday after the break, Khimki will play away against Rubin on 1 April, while Lokomotiv will host Spartak at home on 2 April.
