Ural show dominance and win at Lokomotiv

Both teams made success in the midweek winning the Cup fixtures, but in the RPL Lokomotiv are close to relegation zone, where Ural has been staying since the beginning. Ekaterinburg went to Moscow without Eric Bicfalvi but did not feel his absence at all. Aleksey Kashtanov gave the lead to the guests with a shot from the center of the box, scoring for the second time this week. Next Lokomotiv problem was the red card given to Maksim Nenakhov after his tackle on Yury Gazinsky.

Playing with full squad against ten men, Ural rose, and before half-time Aleksandr Yushin extended the lead and scored his first goal in the league. In the second half Ural domination had no doubts. Lazer Randjelovic added the goal to an assist, the Serbian also scored in Russian League for the first time, and Danijel Miskic joined the scoresheet after netting the header.

Ural were close to bring Lokomotiv their worst home defeat in the Russian Championship, but Fanil Sungatulin’s sent off helped the hosts to avoid painful result. In 10-on-10 play Dmitry Barinov and Ivan Ignatyev, both came from the bench, scored in the added time, but Lokomotiv losing streak in RPL reached four matchdays in a row.

Ural stay 15th with seven points, while Lokomotiv are twelfth on nine points.
