Aleksandr Sobolev came back after one-game suspension, as he got four yellow cards already, and faced his former side at home. Krylia surprised Spartak with fast goal, Roman Ezhov made no mistake in scoring the empty net and gave his team the lead. First Spartak goal was called off, as Georgy Dzhikia scored from offside, but before the half-time Quincy Promes got the equalizer with great volley.
Sobolev started shining after the break, after getting pass from another ex-Krylia Danil Prutsev he sent the ball to the left corner. Amar Rahmanovic made the game tied again going with the ball to the net, but next combination of former Samara players brought Spartak back in the lead, Anton Zinkovsky found Sobolev’s head with the pass, and forward scored eighth goal in last seven games. Ruslan Litvinov smashed the fourth goal with his head from Promes’ free kick, and later Quincy himself said the final word. Having 11 goals the Dutch kept his leadership in the top scorers’ race and helped Spartak extend the winning streak to three matches.
Spartak go second with 25 points before Rostov’s fixture against Krasnodar, while Krylia are eleventh on 11 points.
