On 6 February, three RPL teams played friendly matches in UAE and Turkey.
Ural Ekaterinburg 1-1 Zenit St. Petersburg
This match was the first for RPL leaders in Dubai, while for Ural it was the final one at second camp. Zenit finished first half with one-goal lead after Aleksandr Erokhin scored, but Aleksey Kashtanov made game tied in the second. Due to heat the second half was 40-minute instead of 45. There will be the second match between the teams on 14 February.
Zenit St. Petersburg 3-0 Johor Darul Ta'zim
In the evening Sergey Semak’s team faced Malaysian Johor, who earlier were beaten by Rostov, but they defeat Lokomotiv. Zenit scored all three goals in the first 30 minutes, as Rodrigao, Malcom and 18-year-old Danila Kozlov marked in the scoresheet. Youth team player scored previously against Lusail City in Qatar.
Dynamo Moscow 4-1 Enisey Krasnoyarsk
Both teams are fourth in their leagues, and in Turkey they played match in the extended format of two 75-minute halves. Dynamo made four-goal advantage in the first part with braces by Yaroslav Gladyshev and Fedor Smolov, while Nikita Razdorskikh scored for Enisey after 105 minutes of game. Slavisa Jokanovic’s side still unbeaten with four wins and draw in five matches.
