In previous two days five of seven matches in the fourth gameweek of RPL Path Group Stage entered the penalty shootouts, so Orenburg and Fakel made their fixture sixth in the list. The hosts scored all four shots, while only Vasily Cherov and Vyacheslav Yakimov were successful in the guests’ squad, as Aleksandr Dolgov missed the net, and Maksim Maksimov hit the bar.

Orenburg still unbeaten after David Deogracia joined the first team, they won third straight match in the Cup group (first was won under Jiri Jarosik). Team goes top of the group with two matches to play in the group stage.
