The Russian Football Union announced joining the FIFA and IFAB experiment on referees announcing the decision live after VAR review.

The referees will broadcast their decisions in cases, when they watch the review on the screen near the pitch, and when VAR calls for offside and if the foul was in or out of penalty box.

The experiment will be started in the second part of 2023/24 season and will be used both in RPL and Russian Cup matches.
