On 3 April, Russian Cup playoffs continued with first semifinal legs of RPL Path and another match of Regions Path quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals
2nd stage

Ural Ekaterinburg 1-0 Lokomotiv Moscow
Goal: Ural – Emerson (7)

Overall Ural and Lokomotiv met fifth time this season; sides exchanged home wins at Cup group stage (Lokomotiv won 2-1, while Ural beat on penalties), and two RPL fixtures ended with draw and Railwaymen win. Thanks to Emerson goal after corner kick, Ural joined Dynamo and Rostov in first stage of Regions Path semis, while Lokomotiv, record holder on Cup titles, left the competition at the same stage as last season.
