As both fixtures ended with draw (1-1 in first leg), Zenit and CSKA went to penalty shootout, where the Blue-White-Sky Blues converted all five attempts, while Anton Zabolotny was the only Armyman to miss, his shot was caught by Denis Adamov.

CSKA, who won Russian Cup a year ago, left the competition, and Zenit went to first tournament final game since 2020 and sixth time overall in Russian history. St. Petersburg team will face Baltika, who reached first ever Cup final after beating Spartak 1-0 in Regions Path final.

Russian Cup Superfinal is scheduled to play on 2 June in Moscow at Luzhniki Big Sports Arena.
