Super Final

Baltika Kaliningrad 1-2 Zent St. Petersburg
Goals:
Baltika – Alex Fernandes (40); Zenit – Nino (81), Alip (90+5)

Cup contenders went to Luzhniki after emotional RPL final week, where Zenit pulled sixth straight title, and Baltika could not avoid direct relegation. In the first half the nominal hosts brought hope on winning first ever major trophy, as Zenit graduate Danila Kozlov led Alex Fernandes to score. The RPL champions came close to equalize after Wendel’s goal, but VAR called it off due to Aleksandr Erokhin foul. In the final ten minutes Zenit got their goal through Nino, and when game nearly reached penalty shootout, another defender Nuraly Alip net the header for Zenit’s triumph.

Zenit completed first ever national treble, as they started the season with capturing Super Cup on penalties against CSKA, then defending RPL title and now winning the first Russian Cup since 2019/20 season.
