Rondon returns to RPL on loan at CSKA

CSKA Moscow have taken Salomon Rondon on loan from Chinese side Dalian Professional until the end of the season. The Venezuelan forward has joined the team at their training camp in Campoamor and has already had his first training session.

Rondon previously spent three years in the Russian Premier Liga between 2012 and 2015, representing Rubin Kazan and Zenit St. Petersburg. He scored 24 goals in 56 matches in all competitions for Rubin Kazan before managing 28 goals in 58 appearances overall for Zenit, where he was crowned Russian champion and won the Russian Super Cup in 2015.

In total he has scored 33 goals in 73 RPL appearances, while is his country’s all-time top goalscorer with 31 goals in 83 caps.
