Andrey Talalaev comes back to Torpedo to work as head coach

Torpedo Moscow officially appointed Andrey Talalaev as new head coach.

Coach is Torpedo graduate, he played for the team since 1991 to 1994 and in 1995. Talalaev is the Russian Cup winner in 1993. As head coach he worked in RPL with Rostov (2011, interim manager), Volga Nizhny Novgorod (2014), Krylia Sovetov Samara (2020) and Akhmat Grozny (2020 – 2022), coach left Akhmat in September. Totally Talalaev participated in 85 league matches as coach earning 30 wins, 16 draws and 39 defeats.

Also Torpedo announced that Nikolay Kovardaev, senior coach, came back to the second team, who plays in the Second League. Kovardaev managed Torpedo-2 since February till August. Officially Nikolay Savichev took the duties as head coach and spent seven games in RPL earning five points.

Torpedo are bottom of the standings with six points. Team will play next game against Lokomotiv at Luzhniki Stadium on 15 October.
