Zenit extend Mikhail Kerzhakov for 2023/24 season

Zenit St. Petersburg announced signing new one-year contract with goalkeeper Mikhail Kerzhakov.

This season 36-year-old Kerzhakov became six-time RPL champion. Goalkeeper won titles with Zenit in five straight seasons, while the first one came to him in 2007, despite he did not make any appearances.

Kerzhakov played 24 matches, most than in any other RPL season, and made 12 clean sheets, best result in the league.
