Rostov sign Mohammad Mohebi from Santa Clara

FC Rostov officially completed transfer of midfielder Mohammad Mohebi from Portuguese Santa Clara.

24-year-old player belonged to Santa Clara since 2021, but last season he spent on loan in Iran with Esteghlal. Mohebi scored eight goals in 28 matches of Pro League.

Mohebi has eight caps for Iran national team and three goals scored. In March 2023 he faced Russia national team, coached by Rostov manager Valery Karpin, in friendly match in Teheran and earned penalty shot for his team.
