Official Statement

Russian Football Premier League considers the pitch of Saturn Stadium in Ramenskoye as not satisfying the requirements and standards of the SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship Regulations in full. Its condition did not allow to the teams of Premier League clubs to show high-quality football, was high-injury and took down the quality of the match broadcast. RFPL considers it unacceptable to hold the matches of the SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship on the pitches of such level.

Russian Football Premier League would like to express our apologies to supporters, TV viewers, players and coaches of the teams Zenit and Torpedo. The representative of the Russian Football Premier League in the joint commission of the FUR will be more strict in protecting requirements of the Championship Regulations.
