Khimki crashed out of the Russian Cup after second-tier Krylia took an early lead through Ivan Sergeev's penalty. Soon after the hosts went down to 10 men when former Krylia midfielder Mikhail Tikhonov - son of Spartak legend Andrey - was shown a straight red card, before Dmitry Tsypchenko doubled the advantage after the break. In the last two minutes Egor Golenkov and Nikita Chernov piled on the misery with a third and fourth goal for the FNL side. 

The Cup quarter-final draw will take place after the rearranged Ufa vs Ural tie, which was rescheduled on 3 March.
