Ural Ekaterinburg 2-1 FC Rostov
Monday 27 February, Ekaterinburg Arena

Goals: Ural – Egorychev (27), Vloet (pen 88); Rostov – Osipenko (pen 82)

Rostov kept the same starting line-up, which kicked off the first leg, while Ural entered the first home match of the year with one change, Rai Vloet came back replacing Danijel Miskic. When Andrey Egorychev sent the ball to the penalty area, and it suddenly flew past Sergey Pesyakov, Valery Karpin decided to use Nikolay Komlichenko immediately and put him in pair to Egor Golenkov, top scorer of RPL Path group stage. Komlichenko was lucky again with earning penalty shot, and Maksim Osipenko converted it, when second half was coming close to the end. But then accident handball play from Andrey Langovich led to the penalty against Rostov, and Vloet brought the lead back. It became the winning goal in aggregate.

Ural won 3-2 on aggregate and became the first team to reach RPL Path semi-finals, while Rostov moved to Regions Path quarter-finals second stage, and they will face one of the winners from the first stage.
