Cordoba crushes Khimki, Krasnodar tie club record in RPL

Jhon Cordoba made big job to lead Krasnodar to big win in Khimki. His long pass led Batzi to open his RPL scoresheet, and then the Colombian forced Vitaly Lystsov to hold him near the penalty area, so defender was sent off with straight red card. Cordoba continued pressure after the break, he intercepted the ball from Vitaly Gudiev to score his first, and nine minutes later he made the brace with header. Long shot from Kady Borges, goals by substitutes Aleksey Ionov and Nikita Krivtsov helped Krasnodar to tie their record score in RPL, in 2016 they beat Ural at home with the same 6-0. Meanwhile Khimki suffered heaviest defeat in the top division.

Krasnodar go eighth with 32 points, Khimki still 15th on 13 points.
