«Kuban» confirmed the resignation of Yuriy Krasnozhan

Statement by a main FC "Kuban" investor Oleg Mkrtchan to fans about the situation around resignation of a head coach Yuri Krasnozhan was published at the "Kuban” official site.

«Dear fans! For more than 2 weeks the public has been discussing the situation around the “Kuban” manager Yuriy Krasnozhan. Huge number of versions has appeared during this time and unfortunately none of them was confirmed or denied officially, - the statement says. - We didn't want to upset you in any way with keeping silence. The situation was really difficult. Opinions of the club's Sporting Director and head coach regarding the team, its acquisition and development didn't just not match but were incompatible. Yes, a tournament table reflects current success in a bright way. But a club isn't a momentary position of a team at high lines. There are also strategic goals and they are much more important. Under these circumstances I have no confidence in “Kuban” success tomorrow.

To take a decision was very difficult in this situation: the team must go to an training camp important for the Championship's results in the near future. Yet we stop cooperation with Yuri Krasnozhan as a head coach of FC "Kuban". I am grateful to the club's President Alexander Tkachev for being agree with my arguments that led to the decision about resignation.

Soon a new head coach will be introduced. Prior to formation of a new coaching staff the current staff will perform their duties. I hope for your trust: I sincerely wish "Kuban" the best of fate and do everything to bring this moment closer."
