On January 17th football clubs “Zenit” and “Amkar” achieved agreement that a forward of the U21 national team Maxim Kanunnikov will continue his career at Perm, Saint-Petersburg club's site says.
“Zenit” is interested in further development and improvement of the forward and for this reason the agreement between the clubs includes possibility for the Blue-White-Sky Blues to repurchase the football player for a fixed cost.
Maxim Kanunnikov joined “Zenit” in 2009, debuted in the first team on August 23rd in a game against “Lokomotiv” Moscow. On 10 May 2010 he scored the first goal for the Blue-White-Sky Blues at an away game against “Amkar”. In 2011 he played 28 games for “Tom'” Tomsk on loan. He has been repeatedly called to the U21 national team.
In total the forward played 47 games and scored 3 goals for “Zenit”. He became a winner of the Russian Championship twice and The Russian Cup once.
