Welliton transfers to “Gremio”

«Spartak» and Brazilian «Gremio» achieved agreement in principal on loan of a 26-years-old forward Welliton, the club's official site says.

The forward is loaned to the club from Porto Alegre until the end of the current year. Today Welliton departs to Brazil for medical examination and negotiation of conditions of a personal contract with “Gremio” that plays at a group stage of Copa Libertadores now.

To remind, Welliton transferred to “Spartak” from Brazilian “Goias” in summer 2007. Since then he played 133 games and scored 61 goals for the team, became a silver prizewinner of the Russian Championship three times and the ebst scorer of the Russian Championship twice.
