FC Dynamo announces that a head coach of the team Dan Petrescu will continue working with the club until a middle off 2015. 3-year contract with the Romanian specialist was initially signed as "1+2" scheme. Gennady Soloviev/ FC Dynamo Moscow President:
- We are glad that our cooperation with Petrescu will continue. Since the first day of Dan at the club I have been saying that we trust our head coach entirely. I saw how he started to work and I was confident that we will not have to wait long for a result. We have mutual understanding in all major issues and Petrescu's qualification cannot be questioned.
- Dan Petrescu took the team at a very uneasy moment but managed to improve the situation quickly, rally the collective and build the game, - Dynamo Sports Director Dmitry Galyamin said. – The club's top management positively assesses the results of the team led by Petrescu and the team, development strategy he offered so they consider it right to offer him to continue a joint work minimum until the end of season 2014/2015.
Dan Petrescu, FC Dynamo Moscow head coach:
- For me as for any coach trust and respect to the work are very important. At Dynamo I feel that from top management so I accepted the contract offer without thinking twice. I am interested to work in Dynamo as long as possible and achieve really big success. For a short period the team cannot be built, it takes time and stability in development. We started to work at the moment when nothing went well and we went at the last place. Now I see that mu team is an ambitious, struggling to win collective that can achieve a lot. Fans wait for victoriees and titles. We will work at that all together.
