Anatoliy Tymoshchuk returns to Zenit

Midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Anatoliy Tymoshchuk will continue his career in FC Zenit from July 1. The agreement is designed for 2 years. 

Previously Tymoshchuk played for FC Volyn Lutsk, FC Shakhtar Donetsk and in 2007 transferred to Zenit. As a Zenit player he became the Russian Champion, won the Cup of Russia, UEFA Cup and UEFA SuperCup. He played 100 games and scored 18 goals for the club. On July 1, 2009 Tymoshchuk signed a contract with FC Bayern Munich. He spent 4 years at the club, played 132 games, scored 6 goals, became the Champion of Germany twice, won the Cup of Germany twice, the SuperCup of Germany twice and Champions League. He also played 127 games for the Ukrainian national team. For his sports achievements he was awarded titles of Honored Master of Sports in Ukraine (2005) and Russia (2008).
