Oleg Shatov moves to Zenit

FC Zenit and FC Anji have agreed on attacking midfielder Oleg Shatov moving to Zenit. Shatov will come to St. Petersburg in the coming days to get a medical exam and sign a personal contract with Zenit, the club's official site says.

Oleg Shatov was born on July 29, 1990, in Nizhny Tagil, and started his career by playing indoor football for VIZ-Sinara. Shatov then moved to FC Ural Yekaterinburg in 2007, playing more than 100 matches for the club. He was named FC Ural player of the year in 2010. Shatov moved on to FC Anzhi in 2012, with which he won third place in last year`s Russian Premier League.

Shatov debuted with the Russian national youth team in 2010. He then debuted for Russia`s first national team on February 6, 2013. Shatov has played two matches and scored one goal for Russia`s first team.
