In a starting game of the 15th tour of the SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship FC Volga hosted PFC CSKA in Nizhny Novgorod and lost with a score of 1:2.

The hosts led in the 30th minute due to a goal by Luton Shelton. In 4 minutes Seydou Doumbia equalised the score. In the 73rd minute Zoran Tošić scored a goal that provided CSKA with a win.
