CSKA departs to Spain

On February 9 PFC CSKA held training session in the gym at the USH CSKA in Moscow. After the workout was finished the team travelled to Sheremetyevo airport and departed to Spain for the third training camp.

Igor Akinfeev and Seydou Doumbia are expected to work in the main group from the first day. Aleksandrs Cauna will fly to Germany today for the medical examinations and will join the camp later, the club’s official site says

Slovakian striker Adam Zrelak, who worked with PFC CSKA in Israel, will join the team for another trial.

Head coach Leonid Slutskiy took the following 23 players:

Goalkeepers: Igor Akinfeev, Sergey Chepchugov, Sergey Revyakin.

Defenders: Sergey Ignashevich, Aleksey Berezutski, Vasili Berezutski, Georgy Shchennikov, Kirill Nababkin, Viktor Vasin, Mario Fernandes, Vyacheslav Karavaev.

Midfielders: Pontus Wernbloom, Elvir Rahimic, Rasmus Elm, Zoran Tosic, Alan Dzagoev, Georgy Milanov, Steven Zuber, Dmitry Efremov.

Strikers: Ahmed Musa, Vitinho, Konstantin Bazelyuk, Seydou Doumbia.

In Spain PFC CSKA will take part in friendly matches against Ukrainian sides Dnepr (on February, 14) and Metalist Kharkiv (on February, 17).
