The midfield of Spartak Aras Özbiliz was operated on in Rome for the second time relating to his knee joint injury.

Head of the red-and-white team Medical Department Mikhail Vartapetov told to the club official website about that.

— It was the second stage of the planned operative treatment. The operation performed by Professor Marianni, ended at 19:00 Moscow time and was successful.

Representatives of Spartak medical staff attended the operation, now they agree upon the programme of further treatment and recovery of the player. After the stitches will be taken out – and it will be in the end of September – Aras will return to Moscow, where he will start the recovery activities at training base in Tarasovka.
