The club changes its Head Coach. Administration of FC Kuban and Head Coach Viktor Gancharenko reached mutual agreement on termination of the valid contract, as the website of the club informs.

- I regret to accept the club decision about termination of our contract, - Viktor Gancharenko shared his own opinion. – I did not want it to be over. This step was very uneasy for the club administration, as I realize. I think that with my work I managed to create the platform which will allow the team to go forward. I leave the team when it occupies quite high tournament position, and I hope that it will be able to keep it at the end of the Championship. My special gratitude for support I would like to express to the fan and supporters, as well as to the players and club staff, with which we were solving our tasks for the previous and current season, and with which we shall keep warm and friendly relations. I wish to this football team a lot of success in reaching the aims set.

But this retirement is a preventive measure. There is a whole range of deep problems, which are well seen from inside and may be invisible from outside. Today, there is nothing important for the club than to prevent the outflow of the key players from the club and not to allow the team to collapse. Unfortunately, such kind of crisis can be already notices. The level of discipline allowed by the coach is very low. There is real threat that the team won’t be able to keep the gained position in the tournament table. We cannot allow that in any case. It is important for us to keep our football team. And the club still have the same task – to play in the European Cups. The main thing for us today is the team.
