print version

On Wednesday, 14 January, Dynamo players went to their first winter training camp. After UEFA Europa League match in Eindhoven the team had vacations for a bit more than a month, and they still have approximate the same time before their next European Cups game in Brussels. During this time Dynamo will have a chance to have two and a half training camps – travel to Belgium will split the third training camp into two parts.

The first training session sin 2015 will be held by the White-LightBlues on Thursday, 15 January, as the club website informs.

There will be 26 players in total at the training camp: Gabulov, Shunin, Berezovskiy, Cherchesov, Leschuk, Kozlov, Rotenberg, Gubocan, Douglas, Büttner, Samba, Jarmolitskiy, Danilkin, Ionov, Tashaev, Katrich, Zhirkov, Dzsudzsák, Denisov, Yusupov, Vainqueur, Zobnin, Valbuena, Kokorin, Kuranyi, N.Obolskiy.

Four players are absent from the last year squad: the contract of Noboa is over, the situation with Granat has not changed – he does not train with the main team before all contractual issues are settled, Manolev and Prudnikov are looking for other options to continue their careers.

There is  only one new player in the main team so far – forward Nikolay Obolskiy. Young graduate of Dynamo Academy was very good in the premiership of the second teams and got a chance to show himself in the main squad. It was the perfect birthday gift for the forward – it was his (and his brother Maxim’s, who went for the training camp with U-21 team) birthday and he turned 18 on the day of departure for the training camp. Three days ago Nikolay Obolskiy scored a very important goal for the Youth National team of Russia in the final match of Granatkin Memorial Tournament.
