National team of Bulgaria captain attacking midfield Ivelin Popov became Spartak player. He signed a long-term contract with the Red-White club. Ivelin Popov was born on 26 October 1987 in Sofia.

He scored 9 goals in his 38 caps for the National team of Bulgaria, where he is the captain.
