Ural chose the best virtual athlete of the region

Virtual athletes of Ekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk Region had a competition on Saturday, 28 January.  The winners will compete for the right to participate in the Russian competitions – RFPL Championship and Cup for Virtual Football. FC Ural was the organizer of the qualifying tournament. 112 virtual players took part in the competition. The games were played using Sony PlayStation 4.

The tournament was held according to play-off format. The winner of the qualifying tournament in Ekaterinburg was Omar Aliev, who beat Dmitry Vyalov in the final. Omar is going to conclude a contract with FC Ural in the nearest future and to represent the club in the virtual football competitions. All the expenses to cover travel, accommodation and meals will be covered by the club and RFPL competitions organizers.

Many cities of Russia are going to hold the qualifying tournaments of FIFA 17 game competitions the winners of which will meet in Ufa on 24 February, where the first. 16 virtual players will be taking part in the final competition, they will  be representing 16 RFPL clubs. And a little bit later, in March, the RFPL open championship will take place, where winners of the regional qualifying tournaments will take place and the winner will receive a place at the World Cup.
