Amkar fans gave name to the team mascot

Supporters chose the name for FC Amkar mascot lynx Rysik. Now the Red-black lynx’ official name is Makar.

The contest lasted from March till April, as the club website informs. Supporters offered several dozens of names for the mascot. As a result almost five thousand football fans voted and the winner was name Makar.

An official ceremony with participation of Makar will take place in the halftime of Amkar – Krasnodar match on 27 April 2017 at Zvezda Stadium.
