Igor Smolnikov left Zenit St. Petersburg

Zenit St. Petersburg confirmed the depatrure of Igor Smolnikov following the expiration of his contract.

Smolnikov joined the club on August 2013 with Oleg Shatov, who also left Zenit recently. The 31-year-old defender became three-time RPL champion, two-time Russian Cup and Russian Super Cup winner. He took part in 143 RPL matches with the team and scored 8 goals.
