Aleksandr Dovbnya leaves Rotor

Aleksandr Dovbnya informed the Rotor Volgograd management of his intention to leave the team and wrote a letter of resignation. His contract was mutually terminated without compensation.

Dovbnya had previously played in the Russian Premier Liga for newly promoted SKA Khabarovsk in 2017, beating FC Orenburg in the promotion playoffs. In 2018 he joined Orenburg, before arriving at Rotor last summer.

In total Dovbnya has played 45 times in the RPL proper, as well as two promotion playoff games.
