Zenit St. Petersburg have confirmed that they have reached an agreement for the signing of Claudinho. The Brazilian forward will undergo his medical examination in the coming weeks.
Claudinho started playing football at the Santos academy. In July 2015, he signed his first professional contract with Corinthians. He also played for Bragantino, Santo Andre, Ponte Preta, Red Bull Brazil, Oeste and Red Bull Bragantino.
For Red Bull Bragantino, he played 126 matches, scored 32 goals and made 25 assists. He finished top scorer in the Brazilian top flight with 18 goals, and was named 2020 Serie A player of the season.
As an international teammate of Zenit winger Malcom with Brazil, he played in all six matches at the Tokyo Olympic Games as they won the gold medal.
