Free agent Djordje Despotovic has signed for Arsenal Tula after mutually terminating his contract with former club Rubin Kazan last month. The Serbian forward has penned a three-year contract with Arsenal.
The 29-year-old is a graduate of the Crvena Zvezda youth system, after which he played for Sopot (Serbia), Lokeren (Belgium), Zhetysu, Kairat, Astana, and Tobol (all Kazakhstan), before moving to Russia with Orenburg and Rubin.
Despotovic is a two-time Kazakh champion, as well as winning the Kazakh Cup and Super Cup. At Lokeren, he also won the Belgian Cup.
The Serb has more than 70 RPL matches under his belt and scored 28 goals.
