Artem Dzyuba leaves Zenit

Zenit St. Petersburg officially announced the departure of striker Artem Dzyuba.

The player joined Zenit from Spartak Moscow in summer 2015 as free agent. Dzyuba spent seven years in St. Petersburg except the spring 2018, when he was loaned to Arsenal Tula.

Forward made 248 appearances in all tournaments for the Blue-White-Sky Blues and scored 108 goals, it made him the second top scorer in the club history. Dzyuba became four-time RPL champion, two-time Russian Cup winner and four-time Super Cup winner with Zenit.

As Zenit player Dzyuba won the goalscorers race twice in 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons. In St. Petresburg Artem also became all-time Russian Championship best scorer with 148 goals passing Oleg Veretennikov.
